Hope Through Education: Angela’s Journey in Makuutu, Iganga Angela, a 12-year-old orphan from a small village of Makuutu in Iganga Dsitrict, was forced to drop out of school after losing her parents. Just recently in its campaign to hunt for children that are out of school due to unfair circumstances; Ghailraella Foundation stepped in and sponsored her education, providing uniforms, books and school fees. Today, Angela is top of her class and dreams of becoming a teacher to help other children like her; Currently she is in Primary Five The support from the foundation has not only given Angela hope but has also restored her dignity and belief in a brighter future.
From Bricklaying to Books: Moses’ Education Transformation in Kadugala, Masaka Moses, a 14-year-old boy from Kadugala, had to work as a bricklayer to support his family, which meant he couldn’t attend school. Through Ghailraella Foundation’s scholarship program, Moses was able to return to school. He now excels in mathematics and hopes to become an engineer one day.
